How consent is given
There is exactly one way to enter this messaging program: you call (402) 624-4740 and we do not answer. That number is published on this website, on our business card, and in our email signature.
Your own inbound phone call to us is the consent. We do not have a web form, a keyword, a paper form, or a checkbox that subscribes anyone to text messages, because no such path exists.
We never text a number that has not called us first. We do not buy, rent, import, scrape, or upload contact lists, and we never send marketing or promotional text messages to anyone.
What actually happens when you call
- You dial (402) 624-4740. It rings normally — no robot, no phone menu.
- If nobody picks up within about 20 seconds, our system sends one text message to the number you called from, identifying DJ Develops by name.
- That first message asks what you're looking to get built, and tells you how to opt out.
- If you reply, a short conversation follows — normally three or four questions covering what you need, your timeline, your business, and the best time to reach you. If you don't reply, we don't send anything further.
- DJ gets your details and calls you back.
If you do reach us on the phone, the call is just a call. No text is sent, because nothing was missed.
Example messages
These are the actual messages the system sends, not paraphrases:
- "DJ Develops: Sorry I missed your call! I'm heads-down on a build but I can help right here by text. What are you looking to get built? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply."
- "DJ Develops: Thanks for the detail. Roughly when are you hoping to have it live? Reply STOP to opt out."
- "DJ Develops: Got it. What's the business name or website? Reply STOP to opt out."
- "DJ Develops: Perfect — what's the best time for me to call you back? Reply STOP to opt out."
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message and you will be unsubscribed immediately. You'll get one final confirmation that you've been removed, and then nothing further. You can also email founder@djdevelops.com and ask to be removed, and we'll do it by hand.
Reply HELP for support information, or contact us at founder@djdevelops.com.
Carriers and delivery
Message and data rates may apply. Delivery is not guaranteed — mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice. If a text is time-critical, call us instead.
Your information
Your phone number and the content of your replies are used for one purpose: responding to your enquiry. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy, and our service terms are in our Terms of Service.
